Welsh Cup Chance for Airbus and Druids

Airbus UK Broughton Football Club enter unknown territory this weekend when they face Cefn Druids in the Semi Final of the Welsh Cup. The Fixture is at Rhyl FC`s Ground Belle Vue with a 12.30pm Kick Off.

Airbus UK Broughton have only ever made the Quarter Final of this Competition when losing out 5-0 to Bangor City a few years ago and Andy Preece Men will be looking to Create History at the Airfield by Reaching their first ever Final. However Druids will pose a Huge threat of their own having already disposed of Prestatyn Town and Aberystwyth Town in Previous rounds.

Alot of the talk is that either Club could make the Europa Cup via the Welsh Cup if TNS win the League but that talk is disrespectful to both Bala Town who will be Hopeful of Beating TNS in the Welsh Cup Semi and indeed to Bangor City who are still in the hunt for the League Championship with TNS.

Whatever Maybe everyone is looking forward to the day at Belle Vue and despite huge injury problems the Wingmakers will give it their very best shot against Huw Griffiths well organised Ancients.

Injuries to Ryan Edwards and Niki Lee Bulmer rule them out for the remainder of the Season and additional injuries to Glenn Rule (Groin /Doubtful) Jay Connolly , Mike Hayes (Doubtful) Nev Thompson (Doubtful) and Mark Danks means that Airbus are sweating on Fitness Tests to a couple of Key Players, Gavin Cadwallader may be available and Airbus will be Hopeful vetran Andy Mulliner is fit to start after suffering from acute Cramp last week against Newtown.

Club Doctor Dr Tim Watkin Jones and Club Physiotherapist John Leah are working around the Clock to get players close to Fitness for the most important game of the Season and for Some Time at Airbus.
