Preece warns against under-estimating the Citizens

BANGOR City may be languishing in the Welsh Premier League's bottom spot, but director of football Andy Preece is wary of the threat posed by Saturday's visitors to the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
"It's hard to believe where Bangor are to be honest," Preece says. "To be in December and hosting a Bangor side who are bottom is a real surprise, but they've just been stuck in a rut.
"The confidence drains and they've had a lot of bad luck.
"But they've got a quality manager and quality players and they won last week, so we know that it is going to be a really tough game.
"It's usually one of our hardest games and Saturday won't be any different.
"They'll go on a run and we've just got to make sure that doesn't start against us."
Preece hopes that central defensive duo Mike Pearson and Andy Jones will be fit to return to the ranks after missing last weekend's Welsh Cup win over Haverfordwest County.
"Mike should be back and we'll have to see about Andy," Preece added.
"If they are both back it will be a huge boost to everyone because we are a bit stretched at the moment."
Right back Lee Owens could miss out again with injury along with long-term absentee Ian Kearney.
