Wales Semi Professional Manager Terry Boyle has retained Airbus UK Broughtons Ashley Williams and recalled TNS duo Craig Jones and Aeron Edwards to his squad to face Poland in the International Challenge Trophy in under two weeks.

Ashley will be making his final appearance for Wales at this Level as he reaches maximum age, so it will be fitting for him to make his exit at the home of his Club Football. Williams will be achieving his 4th Cap as well as having played against England in September in a warm up to this game. The Wingmakers versatile defender Ryan Edwards will again be on Stand By for the game and can feel slightly disapointed not to have been re called after his impressive displays thus far in the Welsh Premier League.

The Saints' duo are recalled to the squad after they both missed the England friendly at Newtown earlier this month through injury. Jones replaces Llanelli's Craig Moses who is now out injured himself, for two months and Edwards who was ever-present in the squad since his debut against Poland over a year ago before he missed the draw against the Three Lions, returns at the expense of Barrow's young midfielder James Owen who didn't feature in that match through illness.

The other sixteen members of the squad, who did very well to draw 2-2 with a strong England squad from the Blue Square Conference are all included, which means Neath's Chris Jones, who was called into the last squad after Craig Jones' withdrawal, retains his place, having impressed on his debut.

Wales' fate in the competition was sealed on Tuesday evening, when the Republic of Ireland beat Estonia in Tallinn, meaning whatever the result against Poland, Wales can not qualify as a Best Runner-Up and are therefore out of this competition.

Consequently, it will be the last time that the long-serving Port Talbot Town defender Lee Surman will feature in the squad as he has reached the maximum age. Airbus` Williams, as well as fellow Welsh Premier League stars Michael Johnston, Luke Sherbon, Craig Jones, Jack Christopher, Jamie Reed as well as Conference players Rob and Mike Williams will all leave the U23 Squad after this game.
