AFTER Saturday's opening win in the Huws Gray Alliance, manager Andrew Thomas was pleased with the performance, but is looking forward to adding new signings Anfons Fosu-Mensah and Luke Busumbru to his arsenal.

"It was nice to get a win, it was the most dominating game I've been involved in, the second half we were all in their half, we should have had a definite penalty," Thomas said.

"But we need to be more clinical in front of goal really, we should have been out of sight and we gave a silly free kick away at the end when they got a shot and our keeper made a good save, but it's the only thing he's had to do all game.

"We've got two lads coming in whose international clearance didn't go through in time for today so we'll have more firepower, but it's three points and a clean sheet so I'm happy.

"It's going to take a couple of games for the side to gel, but I thought some of the football we played was outstanding, we had the possession for the whole of the game, it was probably 95%, but we just need to be more clinical and see games out and make it more easy for ourselves."
