TWO Airbus UK Broughton players have been named in the Welsh Premier team of the season for 2013/14, which is chosen by the league managers.

It is the second consecutive season that skipper Kearney has made the dream team, while Short is chosen for the first time.

Kearney made 28 WPL appearances this season, scoring four goals, whole Short marked his first season with the club by appearing 21 times, scoring once, before his season was curtailed by injury.

The other players in the eleven are Paul Harrison (TNS), Stuart Jones (Aberystwyth), Kai Edwards (TNS), Declan Walker (Bangor), Sam Finley (TNS), Chris Venables (Aberystwyth), Chris Jones (TNS), Mike Wilde (TNS) and Christian Doidge (Carmarthen).

Wingmakers Tom Field and Chris Budrys are named in the bench, while Field is also one of five nominations for the Welsh Premier player of the season.

Director of football Andy Preece nominated the following XI: Paul Harrison, Craig Williams (Newtown), Shane Sutton (Newtown), Carl Evans (Carmarthen), Chris Marriott (TNS), Sam Finley, Chris Venables, Aeron Edwards (TNS), Jamie Mullan (TNS), Les Davies (Bangor) and Doidge.
