ANDY Preece felt that the Wingmakers' performance at Cefn Druids on Sunday deserved more than one point, but was again left to rue his side's inability to take chances.

Asked by S4C whether he was happy to escape with a point, Preece responded: "Are you joking?

"Yes the last five minutes but what about the other 85?

"The game should have been out of sight, we had enough chances to kill the game, I think that was their first effort on goal when they scored.

"We were totally comfortable at one-nil up, we should have had more and that's the story so far.

"Although we seem to be doing reasonably well we are doing nowhere near as what we should do because we are not chances.

"So in the end we are hanging on because they put us under pressure, they found a bit of belief after the goal and then we've struggled for the last 10 minutes.

"But for 80 minutes you couldn't see how they were going to get a goal or get a shot on target.

"It's the fact that we couldn't hit the target and take our opportunities, our play in the final third keeps letting us down.

"That's why we are sometimes losing games and sometimes dropping points.

"We've dropped two points today but while I understand where you're coming from in the last five minutes with Coates's save, you have to look at the whole game and, on the whole game, we should have won it but we haven't and that's the problem for us at the minute although we're still in a good position."
