Airbus UK Broughton go into this evening`s fixture with Aberystwyth Town still looking for their first win of the season.

4 Draws and 2 defeats for the Wingmakers mean that elusive 1st victory is still being chased, a couple of wins instead of draws would certainley have had the Airfield squad a lot closer to the top 6 they aspire too, and Home games like the one versus Aber this evening take on extra significance if Craig Harrison`s men are to improve on last years finish come the League Split.

Airbus kept their 1st clean sheet of the season last Sunday at Afan Lido after conceding 7 goals in the previous 2 games vesus Bangor and Neath and Harrison and Head Coach Gareth Owen will be striving for another clean sheet against an Aber side also desperate for points to get their season kick started.

Aber are boosted by the short term signing of Sean Thornton who will add extra creativity and are likely to field Lewis Codling and Jordan Follows in attack added to the evervescent Ricky Evans they will be confident of getting a result at the Airfield.

Airbus` hopes of improving points wise are hamperered by the loss of infuential defender Tommy Holmes who is out for 6/8 weeks with a dislocated elbow suffered at the Marstons stadium in Afan Lido, also missing will be Eddie Hope and Gavin Cadwallader. Harrison and Owen are likely to shake things up in order to create Aber problems in areas identified as weaknesses and the contest should be very exciting for the neutral in attendance this evening.

A number of Airbus Youngsters may make the squad after an impressive win in the Welsh Premier Reserve Division against Prestatyn in Midweek, in one of the corresponding Aber fixtures last year youngster Rhys Nash scored his 1st competitive goal in a 5-3 win at the Airfield- Nash however is currently sidelined through injury.

Aber beat Airbus 3 times at Park Avenue last season and Airbus beat Aber twice at the Airfield so Home advantage will hopefully pay dividends again for this fixture but with both Clubs behind their points target thus far this season it promises to be an exciting fixture.

Harrison is likely to choose from the following players when naming his squad:

1 Niki Lee Bulmer 2 Ryan Edwards 3 Adam Worton 4 Glenn Rule 5 Danny Grannon 6 Mark Allen 7 Danny Taylor 8 Mark Cadwallader 9 Ian Sheridan 10. Craig Whitfield 11 Josh Roberts 12 Mike Hayes 13 Danny Desormeaux 14 Josh Griffiths
