Airbus UK Broughton First team were without a game this weekend due to the re-scheduled Llanelli versus Aberystwyth in the Welsh Cup, The Wingmakers had been due to play at Park Avenue against Alan Morgan`s Seasiders. The game has now been re-scheduled for Tuesday 30th November subject to confirmation from the WP League. The Wingmakers have instead trained in preparation for their trip to Port Talbot on Saturday the 20th and the following games will be against Bangor City at Home on the 26th (Fri) Aberystwyth on the 30th (Tues) and TNS on the 3rd Dec (Fri).
Despite the Above there has been plenty of Football Taking place with the other Wingmaker Sides this weekend with Steve Benyon`s Reserve Side in Fine Home form against Gresford winning 10 goals to 2, Blazing the goal trail for Airbus was Danny Hughes with an amazing 5 goals to his name, with Mark Dumbell notching a brace, with Rhys Nash Danny Calvert and Karl Atkinson completing the Scoring. Manager Benyons side remain unbeaten this season and currently occupy 3rd spot in what looks like a 3 horse race in the Reserves Division with Rhos Alewyd and Penycae respectively. Indeed Next up for the Wingmakers Reserves are Penycae next Saturday.
In the Colts Divison another impressive away win for Dave Riley and Lee Starkey with the Airbus Youngsters winning 6-3 away at Ruthins Memorial Fields, the Colts now top the Divison and are Clear of the chasing pack. Goalscorers up at Ruthin were Ryan Cuniliffe, Chris Thomas, Tom Rowlands (2) and Simon Smith and Tom Bonney completing the scoring. Next up for the Colts is an away game at Brymbo next Saturday.
