Connah's Quay secured all three points thanks to four second half goals at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
The strikes for the visitors came from Michael Wilde, a Jamie Insall penalty, Daniel Holmes and Priestley Farquharson to secure a convincing victory.
Appeals for an Airbus penalty were waved away by referee Iwan Griffith when the game was goalless.
The result sees Steve O’Shaughnessy’s side end 2019 just outside the relegation zone in the JD Cymru Premier, with a vital six-pointer against Carmarthen Town next up in the New Year.
It was a slow opening to the game as both teams looked to start on the front foot but were cancelling each other out.
Liam Williams went close for the Wingmakers eight minutes in as he climbed highest at a corner, but his header deflected just wide.
The Nomads then hit the post as they gained the upper hand in the contest. Jay Owens found himself some space on the edge of the box and struck the woodwork. Michael Bakare fired the rebound wide from close range.
Airbus looked dangerous when they had three consecutive corners which caused problems to the Quay defence, however the Bus were unable to find the back of the net.
Nomads hit the post again 30 minutes in. Wilde was picked out in the area and thundered an effort at goal. The lively Bakare latched onto the second ball but was denied by Lewis Hall’s sharp reflexes.
With limited time remaining in the first half, Wilde thought he had given the Quay the lead after he scored, but the referee ruled it out for an infringement in the box.
The Wingmakers had a great chance on the verge of half time to break the deadlock. Stephen Tomassen rattled the far post after a cross fell to him unmarked; the ball was then eventually cleared to safety.
Early in the second period, the Bus had a penalty shout waved away after Owen appeared to handle the ball following a Tomassen volley.
Connah's Quay then took advanatge to lead in the 57th minute as Wilde tapped into an empty net, after an initial Insall shot was saved by Hall onto the post.
Airbus looked to get straight back on level terms. Substitute George Peers blazed wide after O’Shaughnessy’s men hit their rivals with a blistering counter attack.
With 25 minutes left on the clock, Bakare raced into the Airbus box before he was brought down by Kristian Platt. Insall stepped up and coolly finished to double the visitors' lead.
Shortly after, Nomads added a third through Holmes. Bakare broke clear one-on-one with Hall who parried into the path of the defender to slot home.
Andy Morrison’s team then dominated the closing stages and they added a fourth to complete their flurry of second half goals.
Farquharson went on a brilliant individual run from midfield unchallenged all the way into the Bus box, before he fired low and hard into the bottom corner.
