DEFENDER Phil Clarke has returned to Airbus, seven years after bring released to join Hednesford Town.

The 29-year-old Liverpudlian full back or centre back first linked-up with Steve O'Shaughnessy at Caernarfon Town from Vauxhall Motors in January 2008, following him to Connah's Quay in July the same year.

After a season on Deeside he joined Welshpool in July 2009, moving to New Zealand outfit Hawkes Bay the following October. He returned to join the Wingmakers in the summer of 2010.
