Preece adds wingman Fraughan to his squad

DIRECTOR of football Andy Preece has added exciting ex-Tranmere Rovers wingman Ryan Fraughan to his squad.

The 24-year-old, who put pen to paper last night, spent the second half of last season on-loan at Gap Connah's Quay from The New Saints.

Fraughan first appeared in the Welsh Premier with Aberystwyth Town on-loan from Tranmere in January 2010 having made his Football League debut for the Wirral outfit on 8 August 2009 against Yeovil Town at Huish Park.

He was rewarded for an excellent spell at Park Avenue with a new one-year deal at Prenton Park but was released at the end of 2010/11 and joined Stockport County.

Loaned to The New Saints in January 2012, he made a permanent move to Park Hall in the summer and was voted the Welsh Premier young player of the season for 2012/13.

He was loaned to the Nomads in January and has notched 18 goals from his 72 (+16) WPL appearances to date.
