AIRBUS remain rooted to the foot of the table after twice surrendering a lead in a 3-2 defeat at home to Caernarfon.

The Wingmakers got a perfect start when Andy Owens intercepted an under-hit backpass from former Airbuis defender Mike Pearson to slip the ball into an empty net past stranded keeper Alec Ramsay.

The scores were levelled in the second half when Dave Roberts spilled the ball into his own net from a Darren Thomas corner, but Airbus responded immediately when Jordan Evans did well to reach the byline before crossing for an unmarked Ryan Edwards at the far post.

A short corner from Thomas found Nathan Craig, who planted his shot into the bottom corner to again level the scores.

Roberts did well to thwart Noah Edwards and Jamie Breese with fine saves but, in the 88th-minute, Gareth Evans interepted an Airbus attack and sent a defence-splitting pass to Breese who took the ball past Roberts to score the winner.
