AIRBUS cruised past Llanfair United to reach the third round of the Nathaniel MG Cup with a 4-0 win at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

The Wingmakers took an early lead when a left wing cross was headed into his own net by Gethin Stephens. Several other chances went begging with keeper Danny Foulkes making a good diving save to divert Alex Darlington's well-struck free-kick round a post.

Straight after the interval, a goalmouth scramble produced a second goal, credited to Steve Tomassen. and Darlington twice went close within the space of a minute. But, when Foulkes failed to claim the ball from a corner, new signing Matty Sargent drove into the roof of the net from 18 yards.

Ryan Edwards lobbed over the keeper only to see his effort go agonisingly wide and Darlington headed a corner straight into Foulkes' arms. But, after Foulkes had produced a double save to deny Joe Palmer, Darlington finally got the goal his efforts deserved with a good strike following a free kick.
