A YEAR after hanging up his boots with a persistent shoulder in injury, Matty McGinn is back in training with the Wingmakers.
The 34-year-old left-sided player has been keeping himself fit with gym work and, with no adverse reaction from his injury, is primed and ready to go for the new season.
Matty won three Conference North winners' medals with Southport, Chester FC and AFC Telford United after staring his career with Runcorn. He scored 22 goals in 35 appearances to help earn the Blues the Conference North title during the 2012/13 campaign and was a major contributor as Telford gained automatic promotion a year later.
Unable to commit to Conference Premier football due to work, he signed for Airbus in June 2014 and went on to make 64 (+9) Welsh Premier appearances, scoring 12 goals, also appearing twice in the Europa League.
