ALFONS Fosu-Mensah has signed a professional contract with Airbus UK Broughton until the end of season 2018/19.

With eight goals from his four full and one substitute appearance in the Huws Gray Alliance, the 23-year-old has already attracted interest from clubs in the Welsh Premier and further afield.

Born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents, Fosu-Mensah began his youth career with Zeeburgia, before spells with AFC, Argon and Almere City. He then signed a pro contract with Eerste Divisie club Oss in 2014 and made six appearances.

Mensah then moved to the UK with his younger brother Timothy, who is a first team pro on-loan at Crystal Palace from his parent club Manchester United, and joined Southport, later playing for Colwyn Bay, Ashton United, Skelmersdale United - where he scored a hat-trick against Ramsbottom United - North Ferriby United, Hednesford Town and Marine.

Since joining the Wingmakers, he has scored a hat-trick in a 5-2 win at Holywell Town, claimed a brace against both Guilsfield and Flint Town United, and a goal in the 3-0 away win at Penrhyncoch.
