AIRBUS remain 10 points adrift at the foot of the Welsh Premier table after being held to a goal-less draw by Cefn Druids at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

In an evenly-contested by largely forgettable first half, Tony Gray did well to win the ball in midfield and feed Ryan Fraughan but Druids cleared the danger, while Corey Roper hit the side netting for the visitors.

Ryan J Edwards glanced a header wide of the target from a Fraughan cross, but keeper Shaun Pearson was forced into a good save at his near post. Michael Jones defied Ryan J Edwards just before the break and proved to be the Ancients' hero as the Wingmakers attacked with more purpose after the interval without finding a cutting edge.

He saved from Reece Deakin with an outstretched foot, although an assistant's flag would have ruled out a goal, and saved again from the same player minutes later.

Gray flicked the ball onto the roof of the net from Deakin's byline cross and then played a one-two with sub Liam O'Neill before firing wide.Ryan J Edwards went close to breaking the deadlock and Gray broke free but failed to find the target as Airbus were left to rue their missed chances one again.
