AIRBUS wound-up their pre-season friendly preparations with a 2-0 win over a team of triallists from Morecambe FC.
The visitors included former Wingmakers Aaron Hassall and Keighan Jones in their ranks and keeper Jones was a busy man for most of the night.
Paulo Mendes sent an early effort straight at Jones, who then saved well another effort from the Portuguese man.
Jones then made a flying save after a Mendes cross had eluded Gray but threatened to find the net at the far post.
Fabio Bassangue was well off the mark with a 22-yarder before Mendes tried again and saw his shot fly just over from just outside the box.
Airbus took the lead just past the half hour when a left wing cross found Tony Gray, who beat Jones with a deft angled finish.
After the break, Gray just failed to connect with a Bailey Jackson cross and then dragged a shot wide from 18 yards after seizing on a defensive error.
James Murphy had two efforts aved before Jones saved well from Liam Blake, but another goal arrived when Jackson's excellent cross from the left home was turned home by Kevin Monteiro just inside the six yard box.
Blake had two good chances to add a third but fired over from the edge of the box before missing a good heading chance from Jake Cook's cross.
