Airbus UK Broughton Teenage Striker Jake Cassidy continued this evening in the rich goalscoring form he was showing for the Wing Makers prior to his trial at Premier League Club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Cassidy who was watched by Manager Craig Harrison and Assistant Andrew Thomas scored another impressive goal as he turned out for Steve Weaver`s Development Squad against Blue Square North AFC Telford at Bucks Head, the impressive 17 yr Old scored after 17 Minutes when he finished off a fine solo run from just inside the AFC Telford half, turning a Telford defender inside out before cooly slotting past the advancing Keeper.

Indeed Cassidy`s all round display in the 60 minutes he played was impressive with his hold up play and strength being a feature as was his general movement.

Wolverhampton went 4-0 up during the course of the game but AFC Telford did score a couple of goals to restore some second half pride but the second half was spoilt somewhat by an injury to Ex Aberystwyth Winger Sean Evans who looked to have recieved a broken leg whilst challening for the ball near the Halfway line.

Both Harrison and Thomas met up with Cassidy after the game to check up on his progress at the Premier League Club and confirmed that the youngster is enjoying his experience so far and is looking forward to the remainder of his trial period.

Progress of Jake`s trial will be updated on www.airbusfc.com over the coming days, certainly as things settle down after what has been a whirlwind 4 or 5 days for the youngster. Everyone at Airbus UK Broughton certainly wishes him continued luck during his time at Molineux.
