TONY Gray equalled the Airbus club record for Welsh Premier goals in one season with his 16th of the campaign at Newtown.

The striker headed home from Ryan Fraughan's pinpoint cross in the 88th-minute to go level with the other joint record holders, Marc Lloyd Williams in season 2009/10 and Tom Field last season.

Gray also leads the race for the WPL Golden Boot from Marc Williams of Llandudno (15) and Aberystwyth's Chris Venables (13) who has won the accolade for the past two years.

Gray's consistency is underlined by the fact that he has yet to claim a hat-trick in Airbus colours. The summer signing hit 20 goals in the National League for AFC Telford United last season.
