ANDY Preece admitted he was relieved to hear the final whistle as Airbus beat Haverfordwest County 2-1 to go join top of the Welsh Premier League.

"Was I, playing with nine men it's almost impossible, you just looking for a bit of good luck, but we played with 10 men for nearly the whole game so it was great three points for us," he said.

"Being able to do that against any team takes some doing and I would probably have taken a point once we went down to 10-men but the lads were having none of that and with 10 players we looked pretty comfortable.

"I don't think they had a shot on goal but obviously, once we got to nine, it was going to be backs against the wall and, fair play to the lads, they dug in and got us three points."

Preece had little problem with the dismissals saying, "Yes, Jordan Barrow was 100 percent a sending-off but, while Ryan Wade's second booking was definitely a booking, the first one I thought was very harsh but you just have to deal with it and get on with it.

"There were other decisions which I was a bit more concerned about, there were two penalties in there which would have finished the game off at three-nil and I don't know why he didn't see them."

Looking ahead to the next league game at Llandudno, Preece added: "They are all good games, they are all tight. top versus bottom, mid table teams, whatever the situation teams are beating each other.

"You've just got to try and be as consistent as you can but Llandudno have had a really good start, they're a really good team and it will be another tough test for us."
