TONIGHT'S Welsh Premier fixture away to Newtown has been postponed due to a frozen Latham Park Pitch.

Airbus UK Broughton have secured the loan signing of former Everton and Hibs Midfielder Tom McCready from Chester FC on what is initially a 4 week arrangement, McCready has been injured for much of the Season after appearing for Chester in the Evo Stick Div One North and joins the Wingmakers on the eve of a must win game at Newtown`s Latham Park. Everyone at Airbus UK Broughton welcomes Tom to the Airfield.

This evening`s game at Latham Park is currently subject to a 2pm Pitch Inspection on what has been a frozen Pitch in Mid Wales, news of the inspection will appear on this site later in the day.

If the game goes ahead the Wingmakers will hope to take last weeks performance at Neath into the must win game with Airbus having put on their best TV display of the season with no real rewards, to finish in the top 6 at the split requires Airbus to win their remaining 2 fixtures at Newtown and Home to Bala in Feb however Airbus are hoping both Port Talbot and Aber drop points in their remaining games. Despite the clammer for that top 6 finish which would mean Airbus Best ever Finish in the League guaranteed by the split everyone at the Airfield are content with the gradual progression shown on the field, and the new signings in Craig Harrison`s squad means the Flintshire outfit now boast the best ever quality it has had in its Welsh Premeir League History, the new players have settled in well and will be pushing as hard as possible to get Airbus into a League Position worthy of the passing football on display.

One Player that will be looking forward to this evenings clash at Newtown will be their former skipper Gavin Cadwallader who returns for the First time since being frozen out by Newtown Manager Cale, Cadwallader will be keen to keep a clean sheet against his former team mates and prove a point to his former employers.

Othe Airbus personnel returning to Latham Park Hopeful of turning their former employers over are Roger Preece who led Newtown for a number of seasons, Mark Allen and Danny Desormeaux and even Eddie Hope played a handful of games in Mid Wales under Roger Preece`s Leadership- all of the players here are far more advanced that those days and will hopefully turn in a performance that is professional and classy.

Other news surrounding the squad that will travel to Latham Park is that Gio Feliciello and Matty Woodward both remain on the sidelines with Hamstring and knee injuries and Wrexham Loanee Leon Clowes is suspended after accumulating 5 bookings, Carl Owen is likely to return to the fold although this will depend on whether his Wife shows any signs of having their baby that is due any day now.

A number of youngsters have forced their way into Manager Craig Harrison`s thoughts after impressive displays against Chester in a behind closed doors friendly in midweek none more so than young 17 year old defender James Davies who has what is described as a bright future. Airbus are hopeful that McCready international Clearance comes through in time for him to be considered for the game.

Squad likely from:

1. Kristian Rogers 2. Ryan Edwards 3. Phil Clarke 4. Mark Allen 5. Gavin Cadwallader 6. Tom McCready 7. Nick Rushton 8. Danny Desormeaux 9. Andy Moran 10. Ian Sheridan 11. Eddie Hope 12. Rich Dorman 13. Carl Owen 14. Paul McManus 15. James Davies 16. Rhys Nash
