THE Wingmakers completed a festive derby double over Flintshire neighbours Gap Connah's Quay to make it a Happy New Year for Andy Preece's men.
Goals for Glenn Rule and Tom Field, who both scored in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day, secured the win along with a cracker from Matty McGinn.
Airbus started the game where they had left-off last week, with Rule going on an early run before being stopped by Ricky Evans.
The visiting defence signalled their intention of keeping another clean sheet when stopping the dangerous Sean Miller in his tracks and the Nomads then suffered a blow when striker Gary O'Toole was forced-off with an injury.
Airbus continued to press and were finally rewarded on 27 minutes when home keeper Terry McCormick could only parry a shot and Rule followed-up to net the rebound.
The lead was doubled in spectacular style nine minutes later when McGinn hit a haf volley from well outside the box which flew over McCormick.
Nomads responded with a shot from sub Jack Chambers, which went just wide after set-up by Evans.
A number of home corners early in the second half gave Quay some hope and Miller hit the side netting with a shot from the right.
Evans headed a flag kick just over the bar before his brother Steve was also forced out of the contest with an injury.
Ashley Williams had a great chance to score when he broke free of the Nomads' defence but McCormick did well to save in a one-on-one.
But the respite was brief as Field controlled the ball well from a short corner on 66 minutes before turning to fire the third.
The victory ensured Airbus will be in the Championship Conference after the mid-season split and a 7-0 aggregate scoreline was the Wingmakers' best over their neighbours.
