CARMARTHEN Town may have lost 8-1 at Bala on their last road trip, but Airbus UK Broughton boss Andy Preece is warning that the Old Gold will be no pushovers at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium in Sunday's live TV clash.

Apart from that hammering, Mark Aizlewood's men have made a steady start and Preece says: "They’ve only lost one, that was against Bala, and had a really good start apart from that.

"The Bala result was one of those freak scores you get now and again in the league.

"They bounced back with a point at home last Saturday, and we’re expecting a tough game with them on Sunday.

"They pushed us for second place last season, and are looking strong again this season.

"They are a good team, and it’s going to be a big test for us."

A victory would lift the Wingmakers into second place, three points behind leaders The New Saints with a game in hand.

Ryan Wignall remains suspended while Preece has injury concerns over Ryan Wade and Andy Jones.
