GAP Connah's Quay claimed the local bragging rights by beating Airbus UK 2-1 to lift the Flintshire Cup.
Although the Wingmakers claimed a first half lead through Ryan Wignall, the Nomads hit back with a penalty and Luke Holden's effort just after half-time sealed the win.
An early Ellis Healing effort was cleared off the Nomads' line by Marcus Giglio but Healing provided the crossfield ball for Wignall to open the Wingmakers' account after 17 minutes.
The wingman did well to get past his marker before firing beyond the grasp of goalkeeper Terry McCormick.
The Nomads were back on level terms just before the half hour when Ian Kearney pushed an opponent in the box at a corner and Gary O'Toole stroked home the resulting spot kick.
Healing was just over the target with another effort from 18 yards and Jay Owen played a one-two before his shot was saved.
Chris Budrys missed the target just before the break, but the visitors were ahead soon after the restart when Luke Holden finished after a breakaway move.
Healing's excellent strike was well beaten away for a corner by sub keeper John Rushton, who then made a diving save to keep out Matty McGinn's shot from the edge of the box.
An Owen lob was headed off the line by Nomads' player-boss Mark McGregor and Wignall forced another good stop as Rushton ensured the cup would go back to the Deeside Stadium.
