AIRBUS UK Broughton's bright 16-year-old prospect Aaron Hassall is set to sign a professional contract with Leicester City on Monday.
Hassall has just spent a week on trial with the newly-promoted Premier League outfit and has been offered the chance to join the Foxes with the Wingmakers receiving a five-figure transfer fee.
A pupil of Queen's Park High School in Chester who turns 17 later this month, Hassall was named part of last season's senior squad for the Wingmakers and has made eight Welsh Premier appearances, after also earning a Wales Under-17 cap last season.
He also became one of the League's youngest-ever goal scorers in the final game of last season against Carmarthen Town and one of the youngest-ever to appear in Europe, making a 30-minute debut in the second leg of the Europa League tie away at Haugesund in Norway in July.
Hassall has been scouted by a number of Premier League and Football League clubs and becomes the second young Wingmaker to be offered professional terms, with former team-mate Zyaac Edwards turning down a move to Swansea City a year ago.
"This is a brilliant opportunity for Aaron," says Airbus director of football Andy Preece.
"He did really well for us last season whenever we played him and it is great that we have produced another player that a big club is interested in.
It just shows that we're on the right wavelength now with the Academy, trying to produce players.

"It was a remit that we had we came into the club, that the chairman wanted to see us developing more of the young players into the first team.
"A lot of hard work has gone into it and now we are seeing the fruits of that hard work.
"We've got a lot of young players now that have played in the first team and that wasn't happening before we came in.
"That's great and the fee we will receive is great for the football club, while Aaron has a massive opportunity - it's only the first step but if anyone's going to do it, he will, with the attitude and ability that he's got."
