THE Flintshire derby between the Wingmakers and Gap Connah's Quay has been postponed for a second time.
Friday night's scheduled Welsh Premier fixture has fallen victim to this week's heavy rain after a late afternoon pitch inspection today deemed the Hollingsworth Group Stadium to be unplayable.
Director of football Andy Preece had been anticipating a tough challenge from the new-look Nomads, who had been expected to hand a debut to new wingman Luke Holden and midfielder Gary Roberts, alongside four new signings from last week.
"They're better than their league position suggests and they'll turn it around," he said.
The new date for the game is Friday 24 January, kick-off 7.30pm.
