THE Wingmakers made it five wins from five in pre-season with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Huws Gray Alliance neighbours Flint Town United at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

With several players stuck in traffic, including skipper Ian Kearney and keeper James Coates, youngster Keighan Jones took the gloves with Rich Tomassen again starting in central defence.

Airbu took the lead after seven minutes when Ryan Wignall's cross found Ellis Healing on the byline and he passed inside for Andy Jones to side foot home from 10 yards.

Healing was just wide with a shot from the edge of the box on 20 minutes and Chris Budrys also send a shot off-target.

Jones headed over the bar from a Lewis Short delivery before Healing crossed to Budrys, who drew a fine diving save from the visiting keeper.

At the other end, Shaun Beck shot straight at Jones before Healing fired over from a free-kick after Jones had been fouled.

But the former Conwy man made no mistake three minutes later, curling a superb set-piece delivery from 18 yards into the net.

The Silkmen came close to a goal when Stewart Carroll rattled an upright from 25 yards but the Wingmakers quickly extended their lead as Healing added his second on the stroke of half time.

Luke Ainscough had a shot well-saved by Jones after the break and a great ball from Andy Jones put in Wignall, who was unable to place his shot past the keeper.

Healing missed the chance of a hat-trick after being put in by Wignall, who added the fourth minutes later from close range.

A long ball from Under-19 sub Danny Burgess found Budrys who cross for Jones, who shot was saved and Jay Owen missed the chance to add a fifth with the last kick of the game, sending his shot across goal and past the far post.
