LEE Owens scooped three awards at Airbus UK Broughton's annual presentation night.

The 26-year-old full back was voted supporters', managers' and players' player of the season.

Formerly with Wigan Athletic, Lee played for Vauxhall Motors in two spells punctuated by injury and had been out of football for two years before joining the Wingmakers in July 2012.

But he started in 28 games this season to become the most consistent performer in the side.

Ian Kearney picked-up the award for committee player of the year while Wrexham loanee Steve Tomassen was voted young player of the season.

Wayne Riley received the award for leading goalscorer with 12 in the last Welsh Premier campaign.

The night also recognised many people who have made key contribution's to the club's 46-year journey from humble beginnings to qualifying for the Europa League.

Former managers John Sutton, Terry Melia and Rob Lythe received awards while chairman Paul McKinlay presented silver commemorative salvers to current management duo Andy Preece and Andy Morrison.

The Under-14 academy side that won the national finals in Newtown last weekend were also recognised, as were the Airbus Ladies team who won the North Wales Cup.
