ANDY Preece was disappointed to come away from Port Talbot with just one point after a long afternoon which ended with a last-kick equaliser for the hosts.

"The game had pretty much everything, we are obviously disappointed to only come away with a point," said the Wingmakers' director of football.

"On the balance of play we totally dominated, I think the equaliser was the first shot on target that Port Talbot had.

"You can't count the first one as a shot on goal because it was a mistake by James Coates and we've had numerous opportunities, missed a penalty, Cann has made a couple of good saves, we've scored two goals and we should be coming away with three points."

After a first-half floodlight failure, the game was held-up for a second time after the break when Preece claimed he was racially abused.

"We were having words, me and one of the spectators, I gave him some back, he gave me some back and then he's just racially abused me which is totally out of order," Preece added.

"So all I just asked for is could they sort it out and just get him out of the ground, it just took a while for him to get out of the ground and then it was sorted.

"As far as I am concerned that's the end of the incident and we cracked on."

Port Talbot say they will probe the incident and issued the following statement on Monday: "The club are aware of an alleged incident of racial abuse directed at Airbus UK Broughton’s Director of Football Andy Preece during Saturday’s home fixture at the Genquip Stadium.

"We are conducting a full investigation into the incident, and would like to take this opportunity to make clear that Port Talbot Town Football Club does not condone any acts of abuse, be it racially aggravated or otherwise.

"The club is fully co-operating with all parties involved to ensure a correct resolution is achieved."

An FAW spokesman said: "The Dafabet Welsh Premier League are aware of the allegation made.

"The assessor who was at the match has until Tuesday to finalise his report and once that is received a decision will be made on what steps to take moving forward."
