DEFENDER Steve Tomassen has returned to Wrexham after a highly-successful loan spell with the Wingmakers.
The 19-year-old arrived at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium in August and made 19 Welsh Premier appearances for the club, scoring vital goals in games against Bala, Newtown, Prestatyn and Gap Connah's Quay.
The Wingmakers were keen to extend Tomassen's stay, but he is required by Wrexham boss Andy Morrell.
He progressed through the Centre of Excellence at Wrexham and was taken on as a scholar in the summer of 2010.
Steve made his senior debut in the last league game of the 2010/11 season at Luton Town and made a real impact, continuing to build on his promise in the summer of 2011, putting in some useful performances at right back which showed that, apart from being solid defensively he is also confident going forward.
A regular in the reserves throughout his two-year apprenticeship, Steve was rewarded with the offer of a professional contract in 2012.
"We would like to thank Steve for his great contribution during his short time with us and wish him the best of luck in his future career," says chief operating officer Stuart Roberts.
