Steve Abbott

STEVE Abbott was delighted to grab his second hat-trick in two games as the Wingmakers beat Aberystwyth Town 5-1 at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

"We created lots of chances, scored five goals and it could have been six or seven again like last week," he said.

"It's been coming, even in previous weeks where we've got draws or got beaten like against Bangor, I thought we dominated that game but we were letting stupid goals in and maybe missing chances but we seem to have sorted it out now."

Abbott also conceded that his goals were served-up on a plate by Ryan Wade.

"Ryan was unbelievable, he does the same every week and he set-up all three for me, the lad's on fire," he added.

"This hat-trick was lot easier (than last week), they were all from about three yards, but that just shows the quality of the widemen we've got, they keep putting balls in the box."
