Andy Preece

THE Wingmakers may have lost both of their opening two matches but director of football Andy Preece is not panicking ahead of tonight's home clash with Bala Town (7.30pm).

The Airbus boss believes, with some justification, that his side could be sitting on four points rather than zero with better finishing and a little more luck.

“You’ve got to be realistic in your appraisal. We’re doing a lot of things right and if we continue playing like we are we’ll win more than we lose," Preece told the Daily Post.

“Yes our finishing could be better and we need to defend with a bit more care when we’re attacking but we’re playing well.”

Preece has every confidence the Wingmakers can record their first victory of the campaign this evening.

He does, however, have the utmost respect for a Bala team he rates ‘among the top three or four in the league’.
