BEATEN 4-0 by Queens Park in early season, Airbus gained sweet revenge by the same scoreline at a cold and windy Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

In a game that never rose above the mundane, the Wingmakers dominated throughout and goalkeeper Andy Coughlin was a spectator as the defence kept a welcome clean sheet.

Damase Kiwanda drew an early save from Richard Chowdry before the deadlock was broken on 22 minutes by a 30-yard Wes Baynes piledriver that flew into the top corner. Seven minutes before the break, a good move initiated by Bailey Jackson ended with Luke Busumbru feeding Kiwanda, who fired home from 12 yards to spark a somersault celebration.

Soon after the break, Leo Riley made it three and, when Busumbru found himself in space he composed himself before firing past Chowdry to complete the win.

Once again there were excellent contributions from the Under-19s with Oli Lanceley, George Peers and Blake Robinson all coming off the bench in the second half as Airbus enter the New Year on a winning note.
