Airbus UK Broughton take on Neath at the Gnoll this Saturday in front of the Live TV Cameras Kick Off 3.45pm.
Manager Craig Harrison goes into the final 3 games of the First Half of the Season still with the belief his side can challenge for the final slot in the Top 6, however all 3 games represent their own challenges with Neath flying at the moment and Newtown and Bala fighting for points at the bottom of the division.
There have been a number of changes to the Wingmakers Squad since the Transfer Window as Harrison looks to freshen up the squad for the remainder of the Season with departures including the influential Ashley Williams who has joined Chester`s quest for promotion and both Tom Rowlands and Matty Cook leaving for a new challenge at Newtown, all 3 being excellent servants to Airbus UK Broughton.
Arrivals include Ian Sheridan from Colwyn Bay who carries a real goal threat with his dynamic pace and eye for goal, Sheridan has been joined by Eddie Hope who has slotted into the squad well and already shown glimpses of what Airbus supporters can expect over the next few seasons and finally Gavin Cadwallader has bolstered the defence and will add height and versatility to the Squad- All three new players travel to Neath tomorrow.
Manager Harrison has not ruled out further signings prior to the Transfer Window closing whether that be on loan or permenant signings, if the right player becomes available then he will bring them in- but not just for bringing them in`s sake, any player brought in will add something that is required by the Airfield Boss.
Wingmakers travel to Neath after 2 defeats on the spin at Home to a Powerful Prestatyn Town and on the road in midweek at Aberystwyth Town where 2 more individual errors cost the Bus at least a point, Neath left the Airfield with a point themselves earlier this Season after Airbus clawed back for a 2-2 draw and a similar result in South Wales would no doubt be a valuable one.
Injury News from the Airfield is that Gio Feliceillo continues to struggle with his fitness (Hamstring) and Matty Woodward has a problem with his Knee that needs constant management, both are being monitored by Harrison and Lee Stenson (Physio) and it remains to be seen whether one or both or even neither travel to South Wales.
Harrison is likely to select his squad from:
1. Kristian Rogers 2. Ryan Edwards 3. Phil Clarke 4. Leon Clowes 5. Mark Allen 6. Gavin Cadwallader 7. Matty Woodward 8. Nick Rushton 9. Danny Desormeaux 10. Richie Dorman 11. Eddie Hope 12. Carl Owen 13. Andy Moran 14. Ian Sheridan 15. Paul McManus 16. Simon Smith 17. Chris Doran
Airbus Reserves face FC Cefn in the Horace Wyn Cup at the Airfield and the Colts take on the Venture at Queensway Wrexham
Information on the weekends results for all things Airbus and the views of Manager Craig Harrison with regard to incomings and outgoings at the Airfield will also feature over the next few days.
