This week the 22 first phase of league games were published and our season starts on Sunday August 15th with a home game against last season's runners up Llanelli. Our 2nd game also comes against South Wales opposition when we travel to Carmarthen. At the end of August Airbus is in league cup action when we play a two leg first round tie with Newtown, the home game comes first on Tuesday 31st August with the away leg a week later at Latham Park.
Welsh Premier champions TNS visit the Airfield on September 17th and we look forward to carry on our good home form against the champions having not lost to them at the Airfield in the league since the 2006/07 season, in the last 3 meetings we have won two and drawn the last game and have kept TNS scoreless in those 3 meetings.
Annually our two biggest home attendances have come against Rhyl and Bangor City, but with Rhyl now in the Alliance no doubt our biggest gate will be the visit of Bangor which takes place on November 26th.
There will be no Flintshire derby games against Nomads or Druids this Boxing day and new years day with both teams relegated, this season our festive games takes place against Bala Town.
The final game before the league splits into top and bottom six is on Saturday 15th January with a trip to Neath.
On a final fixtures note we will be playing 4 of our 11 home games on a sunday, with 4 coming on a Saturday and 3 on a Friday night.
