THERE was no let-up by champions Airbus as they hammered a nail into Holyhead's relegation coffin with a 4-0 win at the New Stadium.

Nathan Woolfe's 12-yard strike on 33 minutes gave the Wingmakers the lead after a scrappy half, but a three-goal blitz in six minutes after the break sealed a comfortable victory.

Sam Hart tapped home from close range with supporters still returning from their half-time tea and, two minutes later, Ryan Edwards found space to fire home from 12 yards.

And the game was up on 53 minutes when Lewis Buckley added to his impressive goal tally with an angled drive from 15 yards.

"It was another really professional performance from our lads and it’s credit to them that they’re still playing at such a high level at this stage of the season," said assistant manager Andrew Thomas.

"The fact we’re playing Holyhead in the League Cup final soon gave us an added incentive to lay down a bit of a marker."

"It’s been a great season and we’re determined to finish with as many points on the board as possible."
