Airbus UK FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Jake Eyre from Gresford.

The 24 year old returns to the Airfield after having a previous spell back in 2014, and he has also played at Rhyl and Sheffield United. The striker signs from our local rivals after an impressive campaign last year, scoring 19 times. Joining Ollie Lancely upfront, Eyre will give Steve O'Shaughnessy more options in attack, and should pay a big part in our fight to return to the Cymru Premier.

On the signing, Jake had this to say, "Made up to be given the opportunity to come back! It was a hard decision to leave Gresford as I get on really well with everyone at the club and have a lot of mates there, but felt like it was too good an opportunity to turn down.

"I'm looking forward to starting pre season and getting to know all the lads, and hopefully when the season starts, pushing for the league with them.

"My main aims for the season from a personal point of view is to work myself into the team and stay in it and then get as many goals as I can. But as a team I think the main aim is to win as many games as possible and try win the league. I can't wait to get going."

Welcome back, Jake.
