A CHARITY game staged at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium has raised £900 for the Children's Ward at Leeds General Infirmary.

The match was between an Airbus XI and a team from one of our new club partners, Trescal, who are global specialists in calibration and measurement service solutions for the aviation industry.

The Wingmakers' side included director of football Andy Preece, assistant manager Andy Morrison, coaches Andy Thomas and  Chris Doran as well as academy director Lee Starkey, former club stalwart Mark Allen and general manager Jonathan Williams.

One of the patients at the hospital is five-year-old Kayden Buckley Walker (pictured below with the players), who has aortic stenosis and is a keen Huddersfield Town fan.

"It was a fantastic day and we were delighted to play Trescal with all proceeds of the day going to charity," says commercial manager Chris Doran.

"We are keen to build strong relationships with all our partners and sponsors and engage with as many of their employees as possible over the coming season."
