THE Wingmakers have released midfielder Michael Roddy, who has rejoined one of his former clubs Northwich Victoria in search of more first team football.

The 26-year-old began his career with Bolton Wanderers but signed his first professional contract at Lincoln City.

Roddy has since plied his trade with Anagenisi Deryneia (Cyprus), Witton Albion, Guiseley and Northwich in two previous spells, before joining Airbus in June 2012.

He has also represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels.

During his stint at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, Roddy has scored seven goals from 46 (+12) Welsh Premier appearances and also made one substitute appearance in the Europa League against Haugesund this summer.
