WHILE admitting relief after his brace handed Airbus a 2-1 home success over Bala Town, striker Chris Budrys admitted he should have claimed a hat-trick.
Goals either side of the break from the Scot sealed the win and Buds told the Leader: "It's been coming hasn't it? It was relief on a personal note.
"It was pleasing. When you score it is nice to go on and get a few more and build confidence."
But Budrys reflected on a late chance which was saved by Lakesiders' keeper Ashley Morris to prevent the Wingmakers from going three goals in front.
While pleased with his double, Budrys reflected on a late chance which saw Bala goalkeeper Ashley Morris deny him a first ever hat-trick for Airbus.
"To be fair I should have had a hat-trick as well," he added. "I think that was the easiest chance.
"It (a hat-trick) should have been scored this game, I won't get an easier chance to score one I don't think.
"It is nice to get a brace, but the win was more important though because we've been drawing a few games and we've been unlucky with decisions.
"It was good to come away with the win because Bala have been in good form.
"We've got three more points and that is great because it is tight at the top. Every game until Christmas is really important and we want to win as many games as we can."
