LEADING the way in health and safety, Airbus UK Broughton have installed new safety protection goal padding on all goals used for pitch hire bookings and training at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
The padding has been supplied by our new sponsor, Glossop-based Bridgelane Ltd, who are specialists in bespoke protection systems.
Bridgelane offers on-site consultations, design and sample production prior to manufacture, undertaking site surveys to assess and report on hazard management.
The company's products range from, single skin breathable covers for indoor or outdoor use, to padded covers in flame-retardant High Visibility material.
"This is the first time I have heard of goal post padding being deployed at a football club," says the Wingmakers' commercial manager Chris Doran.
"We are grateful to Bridgelane for their support, enabling us to lead the way in providing health and safety for our players and the many people who hire our 3G pitch."
