AIRBUS UK Broughton have offered youngster Zyaac Edwards a two and a half year deal as a reward for his progress into the first team squad and his call-up to the Wales Under-18 semi-pros.

Edwards, who only turns 17 at the end of May, starred in Tuesday night's Under-18 win over Ireland, scoring the first goal and playing a major part in the second.

"Zyaac is a talent there is no doubt about that and this contract comes with the guarantee of trials at clubs we have done business with in the past," says chief operating officer Stewart Roberts.

"He is still 16 years of age but his talent is there for all to see.

"I am convinced that Zyaac will be the next academy star to move on to professional football and to be honest his brother Noah will not be far behind him."
