AIRBUS UK Broughton will be out to avenge their 'most disappointing moment of the season' when they face struggling Carmarthen Town today.

The Wingmakers lost 2-1 when the sides met in August, despite the fact the Old Gold played more than an hour without a recognised goalkeeper.

Since then Andy Preece's second-placed side have won seven and drawn two of their last 10 league matches and victory at Richmond Park could take them top again.

But Preece admits the failure to beat Carmarthen earlier in the campaign still rankles.

"It was the most disappointing moment of the season," he says.

"We played well and created a number of chances, but fair play to Carmarthen, they defended well, caused us problems on the break and the lad who went in goal made some good saves."

"It hurt us but we've managed to kick on."

Preece has a selection headache of the welcome variety for this afternoon's game.

He made wholesale changes for Tuesday's Word Cup quarter-final clash at Gap Connah's Quay but the Wingmakers – featuring just two players who started the stunning league success over The New Saints – still ran out 3-1 winners.

Preece will also be boosted by the return from suspension of Ryan Wade.
