AIRBUS UK Broughton's trip to Aberystwyth today has been postponed after an early morning inspection.

The Park Avenue pitch has failed to recover from this week's cold snap and the downpour that followed leaving the surface waterlogged and the Wingmakers kicking their heels until next week's trip to Llanelli.

Director of football Andy Preece is frustrated as he continues to target a top six finish ahead of the mid-season split.

"We just have to stay focused now. We have had our dodgy spells and will have more but it is about digging in and coming out the other side," he says.

"Mathematically we need three wins and two draws to be in the top six.

"Connah's Quay would need to win all of their six matches to get close to us if we did that and that is a big ask in this league.

"So it is hard to say what we need - it could be one, two or three. But even if it is seven or eight, to be in this kind of position with six games to go is great."
