Airbus UK Broughtons Welsh Cup Tie with Wrexham has been confirmed as Saturday 3rd December 2011 at the Racecourse with a 2.30pm Kick Off. Ticket Prices are yet to be confirmed.

The Dragons have a difficult fixture pile up around this period and Airbus UK Broughton give Wrexham FC a number of alternatives including Friday 2nd Dec and Sun 4th Dec both at the Racecourse and indeed the option of changing to the Airfield in order to help protect the Racecourse for upcoming matches and to allow Andy Morrell the option of using unused Substitutes from the FA Cup/League Games against Brenford or Tamworth. Despite this Wrexham plumpt for the original conference date of Sat 3rd.

It seems that Airbus will face a mixed side on the day unless Wrexham bow out of the FA Cup against Cambridge next week and Tamworth progress at the expense of Hinckley- when Airbus would then more than likely face a Stronger Wrexham outfit, whichever side is sent out to face Airbus UK Broughton they will be given a good game by Craig Harrisons charges.

It has also been muted that Wrexham may benefit from another Live S4C Sgorio production at Brentford if they get through, another small cash windfall that would assist things at the Racecourse as they move towards WST Ownership, Welsh Premier Clubs still receive no funding for Live TV Games as the exiles do, something that needs urgent attention if the Welsh Premier League is to remain the Flagship League in the Principality.

The game at Wrexham could see former loanee Leon Clowes play against the Wingmakers and will include returns to the Racecourse for Gareth Owen and Andrew Thomas who both spent time at the Racecourse during their playing careers.

News of Ticket Prices will be posted once known.
