Airbus UK Broughton Football Club travel to Carmarthen Town`s Richmond Park this afternoon for a real 6 pointer. Carmarthen have won only one of their opening 8 games losing the other 7 and Airbus UK Broughton have yet to record a win with 5 draws and 3 defeats in the opening 8 games. The Wingmakers won twice at Carmarthen last season and Director of Football Craig Harrison will be looking for another victory to kick start the season. The Wingmakers have performed well on a number of occasions this season without quite getting over the finishing line to pick up that elusive first win.

Last weekend saw Airbus defeated cruelly in injury time against TNS and Carmarthen were cruelly defeated at Afan Lido when it appeared their goalkeeper was impeded when really a foul should have been given, so both teams will be hoping for better luck this weekend as they look to pull away from the base of the division.

A win for Airbus will surely kick start a run of results and provide a shot of confidence to the Squad, a defeat will mean the search goes on for that win and if Newtown overcome Afan Lido at Latham Park the Wingmakers could be bottom come the end of play. The Squad however are in buoyant mode and everyone realises that once that first win is under the belt the outlook will be much brighter.

Injury News is that Danny Desormeaux is likely to miss out again with a thigh problem and Tommy Holmes continues to recover from his dislocated elbow, but John Leah (Club Physiotherapist) confirms that Gavin Cadwallader and Eddie Hope are both fit and available for selection after coming through the behind closed doors friendly with Chester in Midweek. Another player staking a claim for a place in the Squad is Andy Moran who scored in the same game midweek.

Paul McManus and Mark Cadwallader will both get run outs for the reserves at Home to Bala Town to gain minutes on the pitch. And recent signing Josh Roberts is likely to feature on Sunday at TNS in the WP Reserve Division at Park Hall.
