Runaway League Leader Bangor City are the visitors to the Airfield this Friday 26th November (7.30pm) in what promises to be a difficult game for Craig Harrisons Wing Makers. Bangor City are still 100% for the Season in the League and are now firm favorites to go on and win the inaugral Super 12 Welsh Premier League.

In their latest game Bangor beat Carmarthen Town at Farrar Road 5-0 and Nev Powell and Marc Limbert will be hugely proud of their teams achievements this Season including some excellent performances in Europe in the Summer. Airbus will have to contain the considerable goal threats from Jamie Reed, Alan Bull and Les Davies after being beaten by 5 goals on a number of recent occaisions

With news this week of a potential move to Nantporth gaining momentum the Club seems to be going from Strength to Strength and a large Bangor following is expected at the Airfield for this Cold November Fixture. Airbus UK Broughton Football Club have agreed that no segregation is required and that the use of the Broughton Wings Social Club will be available for Supporters to have a drink (and keep warm) prior to the game.

News down at the Airfield is that Leon Clowes will again miss out due to injury and Andy Moran will require a late fitness test after picking up a knock in training, Gio Felicello is also suspended, other than that all of the Wing Makers squad will be hoping to feature in Harrisons plans for the game in what will be Roger Preece`s First game with Airbus after joining the backroom staff , Airbus without a win in 13 games will be anxious to return to some of the home form from earlier in the season, a return to this form will mean Bangor City will leave the Airfield knowing they have been in a game against a good footballing side and with Home Odds at 4/1 for the win will mean a few punters will see that as value. Bangor with 13 League wins under their belt will be brimming with confidence, but everyone is saying that some team will draw or beat Bangor before to long- why not the Wing Makers?, who would gain a shot of much needed confidence and break the Bangor Hoodoo that seems to be over them at the moment.

So as they say- nothing to lose in this particular fixture- History says a Bangor City win , what fate brings will hopefully be something entirely different.

Please arrive early at the Airfield to avoid queing in the cold...
