AIRBUS finished their title-winning season in champion style with a 3-0 victory over second-placed neighbours Flint Town United.
Brady McGiiloway went close with while, for the visitors, Dylan Allshorn fired just over the bar. Nathan Woolfe's free-kick forced stand-in keeper Joe Davies into a good save as the sides went in level at the break.
The Silkmen almost took the lead when Kyle Smyth sent a 25-yarder against the bar and, on 65 minutes, Dimitri Christou blazed over from eight yards with the goal at his mercy.
But it was the Wingmakers who took the lead when Matty McGinn unleashed a fine shot into the bottom corner from just inside the box. Dave Roberts was called into action to finger-tip a Ged Kinsella effort over the target while Luke Blondel went close to an equaliser.
But the Wingmakers settled the contest in the last minute when Woolfe found space to fire past Davies and, in stoppage time, sub Joe Chaplin added a third in a one-on-one with the keeper.
Assistant manager Thomas said: "I think the performance showed why we’ve been the best team in the league this year.
"We were a bit flat in the opening 45 and demanded more from the players after half-time. They’ve delivered for us with some great passing and build-up play and then produced some clinical finishing when it’s mattered."
