THE Wingmakers continue to end their title-winning season with a flourish, running-out comfortable 6-1 winners away at Bangor City.
It took just eight minutes for Airbus to assert their authority when Lewis Buckley fired home following some poor defending. City responded with Alex Boss and Gary Taylor-Fletcher both forcing keeper Dave Roberts into good saves and they were level on 33 minutes. Brought down in the box, Boss saw his penalty saved by Roberts, but was able to slot home the rebound.
Airbus went close twice before restoring their lead with two quick goals before half-time. Former Citizen Sam Hart fired a screamer after good work by Buckley and Brady McGilloway and Hart then crossed for Buckley to head home.
Four minutes after half-time, Kristian Platt got his head to a Nathan Woolfe corner to extend the advantage with Joe Palmer and Hart heaping more woe on the home side.
