THIRTEEN was far from an unlucky number as the Wingmakers maintained their relentless pace at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance.

A 13th-straight victory came at Holywell Town's Halkyn Road where, after a goal-less first half, three second half goals secured a victory that was well-deserved.

Airbus made a confident start and it took a diving save from Andrew Hughes to keep out a Joe Chapin effort, while Curtis Strong's audacious chip from 40 yards flew just over the bar.

Lewis Buckley's shot from the edge of the box was saved and Chaplin should have edged Airbus in front just before the break but fired wide with only the keeper to beat.

After half time, Matty McGinn was just over the angle with a 30-yarder before a free kick deflected off defender Matty Harvey to Asa Hamilton, who smashed home for his 10th goal of the campaign. The lead was nearly doubled when Buckley headed against the foot of an upright but the Wellmen responded with a good move and Dave Roberts came to the rescue with a diving intervention that prevented Steve Lewis converting from an Aaron Pomeiye cross.

From the clearance, Hamilton found Buckley who fired past Hughes for the second and, when the keeper could only parry a McGinn free kick, Buckley was on hand to grab his second of the afternoon.
