GOALS in each half from Asa Hamilton kept the fairytale start to the season alive as Airbus completed a double over Denbigh Town to record their 12th successive league win.

The Wingmakers played with purpose from the start and it took a last-ditch Tony Davies tackle to prevent Joe Chaplin from scoring an early goal. The striker broke clear again a minute later only to see his shot saved by keeper Craig Vernon before Jordan Barrow's cross was headed onto the roof of the home net by Sam Downey.

Airbus pressure was finally rewarded after 17 minutes when an excellent Curtis Strong cross from the left was met with a diving header into the far corner by Hamilton.

Matty McGinn's rasping 25-yard free kick flew just over the bar and the pressure was maintained after half-time with Leo Riley seeing a close range effort just saved by Vernon. But, eight minutes into the second period, the lead was double when Hamilton played a superb one-two with Chaplin before planting his shot into the net from 18 yards out.

Pat Hinchcliffe responded by firing a first time shot just over the Airbus bar before Joe Palmer's powerful 20-yarder was well saved at the second attempt by Vernon as Airbus ended comvincing winners.
